- The guideway, extruded from light alloy, has ground hardened steel bars for sliding seated in special grooves; a longitudinal recess permits fastening with screw anchors.
- End sections and carriages are fashioned from machined extruded light alloy. A series of features and service holes permit optimal assembly.
- Linear sliding on oblique ball bearings with two rings; protection shields and a Gothic arch shaped reinforced outer ring assure a long, wear-free life and lifetime lubrication. Mounted on adjustable, ground shafts to guarantee a light preloading on the guideway.
- RPP polyurethane toothed belts, steel reinfoced, with nylon fabric coated teeth assuring a low coefficent of friction and low noise.
- The linear units require little maintenance in normal environments; in severe or very dirty conditions make sure that the felt wipers contained in the bearing covers are impregnated with grease.
- Belt replacement is simple and fast: there is no need to disassemble the module from its housing, just completely loosen the two belt-tensioning screws located on the return end, remove the two front clamps in the carriage, take out the belt, cut another of equal lenght and insert it in place, tighten the clamps and tension the belt.
- Belt tension: when the belt is barely taut, using the screws provided move the driven pinion outward by 2 miilimetres every metre of travel lenght, making sure it is positioned perpendicularly to the module; if the belt shifts away from the centre adjust one of the two screws + or - until the belt returns to the centre with the belt in motion.
- A number of carriages can be mounted in a single module, at fixed distances apart.
- The modular design allows right-angle assembly of two modules, in a the carriage to carriage configuration or guideway to carriage on three sides configuration, with identical or different models.
